Wallazina amanuu —those who believe. You cannot love Allah intensely if you sit with those who mock the religion. Surround yourself with people whose faces light up at the mention of Allah. Love is contagious. If you sit with someone who is on fire for Allah, you will catch sparks. Believers possess an intense, unshakeable love for Allah

The phrase ashaddu hubban (أشد حبا) implies a unique, exclusive type of love that cannot be shared.

Allah says in Surah Al-Jathiya (45:23): "Have you seen he who has taken as his god his own desire?" When a person loves their ego, their reputation, or their desires so much that they would twist religion to please themselves, they have taken their nafs (self) as a rival to Allah.
